I am glad you are here. What follows is a little about how to make the most of our time together.
How to prepare
This work is most effective when clients come prepared and engaged. Before we begin, I ask that you:
Reflect honestly on your own role
Spend a little time thinking about your own part in the patterns at play. Not to assign blame, but to arrive with an honest view of the system you are part of.
Be willing to consider other perspectives
Come open to seeing the situation through someone else's eyes, even where you disagree. Most movement begins there.
Come prepared to listen as well as speak
You will have room to say what matters to you. Our time together works best when there is also room to hear.
Expect clarity and accountability
Clarity and accountability are part of this process. The work is thoughtful and respectful, and it will also ask something of you.
Setting up for our session
A private space
Choose somewhere quiet where you can speak freely and will not be interrupted.
A steady connection
We meet by video. Test your camera and internet a few minutes before we begin.
Something to write with
Many people find it helpful to note what stands out, so bring paper or a notebook.
Questions before we meet?
If your plans change, or your signed copy has not arrived within a few minutes, write to me and I will sort it out with you.
